PARTICIPATION Open to:
 All Glastonbury Resident Grades 3 – 12 // All GBA Eligible Players (grade 2 & CREC students)
 
GRADE BASED TEAMS BY GENDER
 All Teams will compete in a grade based tournament by gender with a guaranteed number of games followed by a playoff.  Rules and Details can be found on the 3 on 3 Rules Tab to the left.

MAKE YOUR OWN TEAM

Players can make their team.  Teams are required to have a minimum of 3 and maximum of 5 players.
*No more than 2 Travel or High School players are allowed on any one team.
*Teams will compete at the grade division of the player in the highest grade on that team.
 
PARTICIPATION COST PER TEAM (Donation)
 The cost for each team is $100.00 -- 100% of proceeds will be donated to the G-BURY KIDS for KIDS Charity

 
REGISTRATION
Teams will register on the GBA website.  Registration is by TEAM.  Parents will need to help assist their kids in forming a team.  A Parent will need to register the team and pay the fee.  We are asking that you work with families to collect the appropriate share depending on the number of players per team.  Go to the GBA website www.gbahoops.org   In the left hand margin Click on [KIDS for KIDS REGISTRATION] and follow the instructions.
 
COACHING
There is no coaching in this tournament format.  For teams in grades 3-5 limited ‘guidance’ is allowed for general organization.
 
UNIFORMS / TEAM JERSEYS
 Teams are responsible for determining their team name and uniform.  Prizes are given for best uniform – Creativity counts!
 
 LOCATION OF THE TOURNAMENT
 We will be conducting the tournament at various locations to include: 

  • Glastonbury High School

  • Smith Middle School

  • Glastonbury / East Hartford Magnet School (GEMS)

You will be notified in advance of your game schedule by email from the GBA website.
