The GBA will provide a refund of the registration fee paid upon request for the GBA Recreation program only (not GBA Travel). Refund requests can be made through applicable league commissioners or sent to Treasurer (see instructions below).
All requests must be made prior to the earlier of : applicable league assessment date (to be distributed in future) or December 1st (12/15 for High School) the amount refunded maycan be reduced by $20 for processing costs. Please allow up to 3 weeks to process the refund.
Refunds requested after December 1st /applicable league assessment date will be honored on an exception basis and may be pro-rated. (Example of acceptable reasons: documented medical issue, making the high school team)
To request a GBA Rec Refund:
Send email to GBA Treasurer, Chris Trailor at firstname.lastname@example.org and copy the league commissioner for the league the player was registered in. (which can be found in the league contact information tab)
In the email please copy the following list and update all the requested information:
Reason for Refund:
How many players in the family are registered to play GBA ( all divisions)?
Did the player make the High School Basketball team?
Parent Information (list who had submitted the original payment)
